We hope you will consider joining us for our exciting worship services where we praise our loving God, together. We look forward to the opportunity to meet you.
Statement of Faith
The Bible to be the inspired, inerrant, infallible, authoritative Word of God.
That there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
That for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
In the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
In the baptism with the Holy Spirit and in the exercise of spiritual gifts.
In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
In the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
We also embrace and adopt the Nicean Creed of AD325 and Chalcedon Creed of AD451.
Our vision at CFTN is to see Christ exalted, the kingdom of God expanded, and his church unified and matured through the enabling power of the Holy Spirit.
Is to develop deep relationships through interconnected small and large group gatherings where we love one another, worship with one another, exercise our spiritual gifts, and expand God’s kingdom in the local community, the nation, and the world.
1) Passionate Worship (John 4:23)
2) Persistent Prayer (Luke 11:9)
3) Unapologetic Preaching of the Word (2 Tim. 4:2)
4) Authentic Community (John 17:23)
5) Holy Spirit Powerful Living (Acts 1:8)
6) God’s Word is Truth (John 17:17)
Everyone is Welcome
What to Expect
We understand stepping into a church for the first time can be sometimes scary and intimidating. We hope that your experience at CFTN is casual and relaxed. We believe you will receive a gentle touch from the God who loves you and is committed to you.
At CFTN we usually start our services with dynamic worship. The music can be loud to some but we try to keep it an acceptable level (ear plugs are available at Connections). Most likely, you will see and hear our worship team on stage. The CFTN worship team is a beautiful example of how our Body functions best – deep relationships with one another serving together with an inspiring freedom of expression.
Our CFTN community is small enough that you may be personally greeted and welcomed to our Sunday gatherings. We try hard to avoid the labels of various Christian expressions so we can’t really describe accurately what happens each week, as it is usually different. Sunday mornings are also filled with activities, such as children’s and youth ministries.
9:30 AM to 10:15 AM – Worship & Prayer Service
10:15 AM to 10:30 AM – Greeting and Meeting Time
10:30 AM to 11:45 – Worship & Teaching Service
Praise and worship often includes spontaneous words, encouragements, and testimonies of God’s kingdom (childcare provided at 10:30 AM with Jr. and Sr. High meeting at 11:07 AM or after worship). After the worship music an elder typically prepares and brings Biblical Teaching with usually an invitation for personal prayer for any need in one’s life (and we see prayers answered miraculously each week!).
